The crew is out. The admin shouldn't be.
For owners of lawn care and landscaping companies, pressure washing and window cleaning, residential and commercial cleaning, and dog walking and pet sitting. You run the day on Jobber, Housecall Pro, ZenMaid or Time To Pet. The evenings are what Sanoma takes.
What you do by hand today
Hours that reach payroll wrong
The crew clocks in on the app, or doesn't. Shop time, drive time and a job that ran long are fixed by hand before the hours go to payroll, and a cleaner paid from the wrong hours is a conversation you have on Friday. Seasonal crews mean doing it again every spring.
The job is done, the invoice isn't
The quote lives in the field app, the invoice in QuickBooks, and the two are typed to match. Commercial clients want one invoice a month for every visit. Then the card payout is held by the app's own payments arm, and you chase both the client and the vendor.
Records your clients and your state ask for
Chemical application records and the applicator licence. A certificate of insurance for every commercial contract, due again each year. Door codes and keys for every house, and which cleaner or walker has them. Vaccination records for every dog. Each one is a text thread or a photo somewhere.
You stay because they have your data
Owners say it outright: the vendor has all our data, so we put up with the price rise, the paywalled export and the support that doesn't answer. Leaving means retyping every client and every route.
Start with these apps
An app is a set of pages, records and workflows for one job, kept in your own repository beside everything else your business runs on. We are building these first, with design partners in this trade.
What changes
Friday's payroll is a run you approve from hours that are already right. Invoices leave when the work is done, and the money lands with your own processor. The certificate a property manager asks for is a page, not a search. Your clients, routes and records sit in your own database, so the field app is a tool you use, not a place you are stuck.
What stays yours
- Your client list, your records and your rules live in your own repository and your own database.
- Nothing changes without a plan you can read first, and every change is recorded with who approved it.
- The code is source-available. Read every line, change what you like, and leave with everything.
